Synopsis:

In the world of Symphony Fighters!, the future is not “new,” but rather, broken and assembled from used parts. Societies and empires are flimsily built on mountains of failures and lessons learned the hard way. Neo-Liberalism has had its drunken, reckless party, leaving the time of the story in which we arrive to be the following hangover with a surprising amount of property damage. Mankind no longer dreams - no longer seeks adventure. All there is time for is to argue about where things went wrong and who is to blame. The worst possible scenario came true in which everyone has been proven wrong and there are no easy answers. And to make matters worse, the universe wants us dead.

The word “symphony” derives from the root meaning, which is, “to come together.” It has the same root meaning found in the words “symbiotic,” “symmetry,” and “sympathy.” To defeat our follies of the past and justify our existence in the future to come, we must put our divisions aside, take up our instruments, and together make the song that requires a symphony. Symphony Fighters! is a self described “neo-anime” - a blend of many eastern and western art styles, genres, as well as a mix of postmodern and metamodern style sensibilities. It is a story that can only be told in this particular way and in this particular time.
